The H-4 is known for its blazing natural speed, buttery rail-to-rail transitions, and the perfect balance between responsiveness and forgiveness. Named after the storage unit that MAR once called home, it’s among the best work-to-fun ratios of any board we’ve ever ridden — incredibly easy to paddle, catch waves, and duck-dive while still capable of any maneuver that most mortals can throw at it. As a result, the H-4 has saved countless frustrated shortboarders from throwing in the towel and has re-ignited the fire for numerous others who thought they’d passed their prime.

The H-4 uses complex bottom contours paired with forgiving rail shapes and a thin foil to give you the speed, drive, flow, and release you want without requiring perfect waves or great technique.

Soft tri-plane bottom maintains amazing speed, flowy rail transitions, and generous forgiveness.

Timeless outline with perfect nose-tail balance provides an efficient planing surface for impressive momentum and hard corners into a subtle arc tail for excellent release.

Low entry rocker for maximum paddle-ability and at-times, effortless down-the-line speed — late flip in last 6 inches provides plenty of forgiveness on steep drops and aggressive turn re-entries.
