POACHER
- Midlength -
DESCRIPTION
The Poacher is a fun board outline paired with a progressive egg-styled rocker. It is a great small-wave machine for performance-oriented surfers who refuse to longboard, a perfect step-down for loggers in bigger surf, and an ideal one-board quiver for new surfers who are finding their style. While most fun boards are optimized to help first-timers get to their feet, they're pretty terrible at everything else. The Poacher is designed to make entry to surfing easy on a board that's still fun to ride as an expert.
Shaper's Notes:
While most fun boards tend to fall short of the "good at everything" claim, the Poacher stands true. We've combined the forgiving outline of traditional fun boards with more thoughtful and performance-oriented rockers, rail shapes, and bottom contours to keep the forgiveness intact without nerfing this board's ability to perform.
